Mustafa Lule who jumped off Mabirizi Complex rooftop in an apparent suicide attempt early September, has given his life to Jesus Christ.

Mustafa survived death after landing on top of a vehicle that was parked outside the five storied building.

Key witnesses at the scene described the unfathomable survival of the 17-year-old as nothing less than a miracle. Rushed to Mulago national referral hospital for treatment, false reports later emerged that the young man had succumbed to the injuries.

This report spread like a wildfire however, Mulago Hospital through their publicist, Enock Kusasira soon disputed the claim saying, “The boy is alive, he is okay and is recovering,”

At the time, doctors additionally said he had suffered trauma but his bones remained largely intact except for a fracture on his left arm.

Mustafa was on 18th Sept, 2016 discharged to receive further treatment as an outpatient.

He appeared on national TV saying that on attempting suicide, he was a troubled soul and distressed after losing his tailoring job in the city. He also expressed deep regret at his actions.

He urged that he cancelled his plan upon realizing that God still wants him alive.

With Just about 23 days down the road since discharge, the living miracle has finally given his life to Jesus led by Gerald Mwebe, founder and Senior Pastor of Streams of Life Church in Kampala, Uganda who paid him a visit this week.

With a similar story, at the age of 17, Gerald Mwebe was graciously saved and His life was instantly changed by the power of the Gospel and ever since, he has been on fire sharing the Amazing Love of Christ.

Speaking to UG Christian News, Pr Gerald Mwebe described his interaction with Lule as an “amazing divine connection.”

Suicide attempt is publishable by Law however, “the police decided to look the other way”, as Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson Emillian Kayima confirmed on 19th September , 2016. They however told him to go for rehabilitation.
