Ugandan musician Jackie Chandiru’s photos in rehab were released a few days ago and it’s nothing like we all know.

The former Blu*3 singer, now at Bunnamwaya Rehabilitation Centre was admitted about a month ago for drug misuse.

Reports indicate that the singer at one point was suicidal, and that she is now on a suicide watch.

Amidst all this, several gospel artists have taken a stand not to judge but encourage the diva.

Julie Mutesasira Nalugya yesterday took to social media saying, “You are going be fine Jackie…. You have my and our prayers, we are with you, we praying with you. Our God is faithful. We love you Jackie Chandiru,”

The revelation comes a few days after it was also reported that she has been kicked out of her home.

Police said the singer had delayed her rent for long and that her landlord had resolved to throw her belongings out after failed negotiations.

Uganda Online reports that authorities are holding in custody a suspect, identified as Bob Mugarura, who is accused of selling hard drugs to the singer.

Daisy Ejang, a renowned gospel artist and former Tusker project fame finalist said that she does not care what the world says, “Jackie Chandiru is a strong exceptional beautiful woman, and no matter how low such a soul goes ,they will always rise up on top because they are survivors,”

She used her post to urge that instead of spreading someone’s low moments, we should celebrate them.

“Everyone in this universe, name them, all do have dark moments but, it doesn’t mean they are finished. No! it’s just a season and as we know all seasons come to an end,”

“So join me today as we celebrate this great woman and daughter of the most high God,” Daisy  further said.
