In October 2016, Watoto Church, formerly Kampala Pentecostal Church (KPC) announced the grand launch of ‘My Miracle Offering 2016’, its annual sacrificial giving started 2008.

The drive lasted 2 days, 22nd to 23rd October at all Watoto Church celebration points.

Announcing its latest financial details on Monday, the Church revealed that a total of USD 618,243 was collected, which comes to 2,131,703,443 Ugandan shillings.

The Church says that these funds will go towards meeting its critical needs, as well as supporting God’s work among other churches.

Some of the churches and partner organisations that have benefited from ‘My Miracle Offering’ include King Of Kings Church Jerusalem in Israel, Christian Life Church in Burundi, Church of Uganda, Masaka Pentecostal Church and the Pentecostal Assemblies of God, Canada.

The same will go towards constructing a Children’s Church facility at Lubowa, supporting a church plant in Japan, setting a up new Watoto Church celebration point among other activities.

While launching the drive in October, Edward Mwesigye, a Pastor at Watoto Church – Ntinda, said that ‘My Miracle Offering’ is not just about money, “It’s about winning souls for Christ and caring for those who are lost and hurting in community.”

Last year, Watoto Child Care Ministries was honored by the Financial Reporting (FiRe) Awards for achievements in financial reporting, Non-Governmental Organisations category – Children Sub-Category (NGOs).
