Archbishop Stanley Ntagali Prays at Swearing-in – Almighty God, In the name of your Son and our Savior Jesus Christ our Lord. We thank you for this great day, when we gather to pray for your servant whom you have chosen to be the president of this country for the next 5 years.

We thank you merciful father for the successful and peaceful period of elections and for the leaders that you have given us as a country. Through them let our country prosper, have total peace and development.

we pray in a special way for your servant, the president you have given us as a country, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, his wife Hon. Mama Janet Museveni and their children. That today as he starts another term of office, as the president of this country, that you will guide him as you guided Moses.

Anoint him with the power of the holy spirit and use him as your anointed one. Enable him to lead this country according to your will, enable him to follow the example of your son our savior Jesus Christ who was a servant leader as he served your people in this country Uganda.

Give him wisdom, knowledge, courage, charisma and confidence and make him know that without You, he can do nothing. We pray that he will totally depend upon Your guidance, protection of himself and all the people of Uganda as a whole.

Father God, in the name of your son Jesus Christ who is our Lord and creator, we pray for the organs of Government, the Executive, the Legislature and the Judiciary, we pray for the UPDF, the police and all those who are in authority and want to see that this government is governed well and in the honor of Your name.

We pray for all people of our country, the youth, women and children of Uganda bless them and provide for their needs. we pray that this country under the leadership of your servant Y. K Museveni will not allow and evil practices which are against your will. Keep us united and faithful in the name of Jesus Christ.

Our Lord our God, your word is Psalms 33 verse 12 says that, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage,” Almighty God in the name of Jesus Christ Our Lord, we come to you our God as your chosen people, we repent of our sins as we ask you to forgive us for all the mistakes of the past and keep us under your care as people of a common destiny.

Help us oh Lord in the name of your son Jesus Christ to love one another and care for our environment . Bless our Country Uganda and her people in the name of Jesus Christ. Bless President Y.K Museveni, his family and his government. Help us all to care for the poor and the disadvantaged to our country.

Help us in your mighty power in the name of Jesus to avoid all evil, hatred and corruption, and any form of perversion but, rather to focus on the development of our country. Almighty God, bless your people who have come to attend this swearing-in ceremony, our visitors and all the people of Uganda.

we thank you, because all the power and glory are yours. we thank you our God and father, for hearing our prayers which we have prayed today, in your precious, in the mighty and powerful name of your son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
