Born-again Christian mother of three (3) and executive director of Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) Allen Catherine Kagina has been announced among the key note speakers at ‘Transform The Leaders’ gathering organised by Worship Harvest Ministries.

The Church said in a statement that the initiative seeks to equip individuals from diverse spheres with practical tools on how to multiply their influence, and network with over 800 leaders and be re-energized to transform your community.

Ms Allen Kagina will inspire among others individuals serving with the government, corporate and business sector, the statement read.

‘Transform The Leaders’ gathering under the theme ‘Multiplying Influence’ is scheduled for 7-8 September, 2018 at Worship Harvest Naalya.

Kagina started her career in 1985 as a teaching assistant at Makerere University. She later moved to the Office of the President. In 1992, she joined the URA as a senior principal revenue officer, serving in that capacity until 1998.

She was in 2000 promoted to the rank of deputy commissioner for customs at URA, serving in that capacity until 2001. She was appointed commissioner general of URA in 2004. She is credited with improving the URA’s financial performance.

On 27 April 2015, John Byabagambi, the Ugandan Minister of Works and Transport at that time, appointed her as the executive director of the UNRA, effective 1 May 2015.

Also expected at the gathering is Mr Alex Mutagubya, the lead Pastor of The City Church – Luzira, Kampala and founder of Transform African Ministries. The Ministry will also offer a platform to author, CEO and co-founder of Nomad Advertising, Ariho Kamara.

Others are Matt Hannan and Ps. Muriithi Wanjau popularly known as Ps. M. He is the senior pastor of Mavuno Church, a movement of churches based in Nairobi, Kenya with a presence in 10 different nations.

Mr Noah Balessanvu who is the founder of Cyrpo Savannah and Blockchain Technologies Africa will also grace the gathering. Noah has over 12 years’ experience in the cyber security space and over 3 years’ experience in Civic technology.

Lead pastor at Worship Harvest, Moses Mukisa will also be speaking at the gathering. He is a certified John Maxwell Team Speaker, Trainer and Coach. He is an author of several books including Straight Forward Financial Growth a book with over 1000 copies in sales in less than 2 months.
