A Ugandan gospel music group, Mafuta Family, has received three (3) awards at the Prayze Factor Peoples’ Choice Awards season 10 grand ceremony in Atlanta, Georgia – USA.

Results endorsed by The International Music Association (TIMA) reveal that Mafuta Family topped 3 of 4 music categories where they were nominated earlier this year.

The group lead vocalist, Mrs Alice Kimeze, received their trophies at a ceremony in Georgia on Sept. 16

“Jesus did it again. We scooped three awards at The Prayze factor awards; Best International Choir, Best Big Choir and Best Praise Team. Thank you Holy Spirit.” Mrs Alice remarks.

Last year’s season, the same group emerged victorious when it received three awards including Afro praise choir of the year, Best choir of the year and Best international choir of the year.

CEO of The PG Network – USA who is also the founder of the Prayze Factor people’s choice awards, Apostle Dr. Teresa Jordan says the awards feature the best and most inspired gospel artists in the industry. Finalists compete for over $15,000 in gospel music services and fans are allowed to vote as many times as they can.

From Miracle Center Cathedral Rubaga Kampala, Mafuta comprises of young people on fire for Jesus.

Their aim is to spread the word of God through music to thousands of youth across the world and this they have done by releasing several songs that include Birimumaso, Ninda among others.
