Several well-known gospel Deejays are set to make appearance at a highly anticipated DeTox Silent Disco event slated for 29th March at Smokeys Resturant and Lounge in Nakasero – Kampala.
In a statement received by UG Christian News, the organizers said DeTox is a christian event that gives young people a safe space to express them self and have Christ inspired Fun.
The event is hinged on 2 Corinthians 10:5, and the organizers say they seek to “show people that Christianity isn’t lame or boring and there is no need to conform to what everyone else is into.”
“The Silent Disco is going to have nine (9) Deejays rock the party that will start from 7.30pm all the way till much later in the evening,” the statement said.
Further revealing, “The line up is lit with Deejay’s; Stef, Twonjex, Peruz, Niimso, Easy Samuel, Reverend Dj, Hush, Shawn and Ruby,”
“There deejays will be working with the three channels at hand; Blue – oldies & reggae, Green – Afrobeats, dancehall & House, Red – hiphop , RNB and techno,” they said. “Our media partner for this DeTox is 104.1 Power FM.”
