Grammy nominated worship leader and recording artiste Todd Dulaney, known for hit songs “Victory belongs to Jesus,” “Consuming Fire” among others is scheduled to headline Kenya’s biggest Christian festival, Praise Fest.

The festival hosted in Nairobi, bringing people from all denominations and walks of life together to worship and enjoy the presence of God in unity as the body of Christ. The event, according to the organizers, also aims to offer a response of celebration to God’s greatness, being led to a place of repentance and grow in spiritual maturity through songs of worship.

Dulaney on Wednesday took to social media upon arrival in Kenya with his wife, to express his excitement about the event slated for 27 April, 2018.

He said, “We are so happy to he here. We have been thinking about it for months. It just feels so good. It feels like home.”

Previous editions of Praise Fest have featured renowned worship leaders such as Sinach as well as South Africa’s Hill Song Worship.

Other gospel musicians expected to minister along side Todd include Mercy Masika, Bethu, Kanjii, Alice Kimanzi, Maluki among others.

Todd Dulaney’s appearance in Kenya comes over a year since he visited Uganda for a worship meeting with Christians during the 77 days of Glory at Miracle Centre Cathedral, Rubaga.

Later narrating his Uganda visit to USA media, Todd described ‘Victory belongs to Jesus’ as a movement – “it is no longer a song”.

“I really had on idea how big it had become until I got a chance to go to Uganda, and realized that the people, when they sing these words, they are not just saying “Victory belongs to Jesus,” it is a way of life. It is a declaration they are committed to share forever.” He told Elev8 Magazine then.

“I knew it was a big song but I don’t think I saw that this is not just a song, this song changed my life tremendously. God has opened up global doors, and we are leading nations in the presence of God. I got off the plane in Uganda, and immediately, things were different. (A new world)…things are off the hook. Everywhere we go, they are shaking our hands, saying Victory belongs to Jesus,” Todd said, “You have no idea who God is speaking your name too, or where he is making your name great,” he added.
