Celebrated gospel music video producer J Blessing and his wife Chantelle laid their 7-month-old son to rest at the Lang’ata Cemetery last year [Aug 5th 2015].

The little angel had passed on to the couple’s shock after succumbing to illness despite having been admitted in hospital.

Following the news of baby Kyle’s passing, the couple received support from friends and family until his final journey. Chantelle’s send-off words were that she treasured and will continue to treasure him as her first born son.

With next to 5 months of baby Kyle’s passing, J blessing wrote an emotional note yesterday about the late Kyle in relation to God’s will for our lives and the powerful lessons he has learnt through the process.

He said;

“May your will be done! Guess this is a prayer will all make unknowingly; sometimes the will of God is so painful to bare.

A day like this God blessed me, the first thing that I asked Him was to make my son who He wants him to be.

Today is a deferent story since the pain of losing my son gave me a new meaning to life and My journey in Christ. Proverbs 3:5 now I know He’s the boss whatever He wants to establish no one can argue with Him.

I now know since He forgave me I have no reason not to forgive anyone. Through ‪#‎KyleBlessing I learned to forgive and to ‪#‎reconcile Ephesians 4:26”

Have you ever wondered, Why did God let me suffer that injury? lose my job? have a car accident? forget that appointment? have a fight with my spouse? let my parents get divorced? let me be born with a defect?

How can a God who loves me allow me to experience pain and suffering? It just doesn’t seem to add up. When bad things happen, we want answers.

The truth is, you can’t know all the reasons why God lets bad things happen. We live in a world that is marred by sin, so difficulties and disappointments are bound to cross our path. Nevertheless, just like J Blessing, if you ask God for discernment, you can begin to understand why He allowed something to occur. You can also discover how God can redeem the situation and bring benefits to your life as a result of suffering.

Scripture teaches us that “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28; see also Jeremiah 29:11).
