Following a successful event that was held in Atlanta from 14th – 15th August 2015, The Sautis Awards are to annually honor excellence in the African gospel recording industry, organised by Sauti One.

Sauti One aims to inspire and in oneness reignite a passion for God, people, and music. “Sauti” is a Swahili word that means “voice.”

According to media sources, these awards seek to have nominees for the annual gala drawn from different parts of the world, representing different genres of music and technical fields.

Updates coming through indicate that the Viga Music Awards management was approached by a US contact to present candidates to the Sauti Awards, all with an achievable opportunity of ministry at the annual event.

The VIGA management is expected to submit a music video, audio, bio and photos of artists for consideration in the 2nd Annual Sauti Awards edition to take place in Atlanta on 12th & 13th August, 2016.
