It was in 2015 that she was involved in a life threatening car accident together with fellow gospel singer Simon Mirembe in Kyengera, along Masaka road. This accident left the two hospitalised at Mengo hospital; unconscious. Her tremendous healing brought her to terms with the will of God upon her life.

Several artists joined renowned gospel singer turned Pastor,  Julie Deborah, on Sunday as she officially launched ‘Prayer Healing Tabernacle International Ministries Kibili Ggangu.

The colourful event that kicked off at 3pm, was graced by many upcoming and established gospel music singers that included Julie Mutesasira, Dangelo Busulwa, ‘Gwomanyi ‘ hit singer Joseph Segawa, Joy Tendo and many more.

Following an up-close interview with UG Christian News in October this year, Julie Deborah revealed how God laid upon her the need to mentor and raise the next generation, maintain a praying spirit among believers and win people’s souls back to Christ through love.

The artists congratulated Pr Julie, advised her and encouraged her to follow her dreams looking to Christ for guidance and strength at all times.
