22-year-old Ugandan based Christian rapper Mbabazi Resty aka Race T came to the nationwide gospel music scene a few years back.

She does Rap kind of music, a subset of the culture of Hip Hop, which began  in the early 1970s. There are some Christians that think Christian hip hop smells too much like the world. Inspired by LeCrae, Race T believes that like any other genre, Hip Hop is an effective tool of evangelism.

She has released songs that include Ani Asinga , Revive me featuring Ernest Rush, Pretty galz where we had gospel icons zabuli, Mc loy, and Lady Bezo.

Many give a standing ovation to her lyrical flow of words that glorify Christ and the Kingdom, fused with great vocal power, range and uniqueness

Race T has confirmed the date for her maiden concert as “17th June, 2016 at Lugogo Baptist Church from 5pm,”

“I will feature artists like Ruyonga, Barna, Lyll Mike, Robisan, Zabuli, Ivordous, Benjamin Prince, Naxa, Wake, Sonny soweez and many more,” she says

Race T further adds that the unplugged concert will be modulated by Tonny Smart and Lady Bezo, Christian radio presenters at FM J and Spirit FM 96.6  respectively.

She says that the concert has been dubbed ‘sanctuary’ because above all else, Jesus is her sanctuary, “He is that person in whom I find refuge and rest,”. Entrance is free, with CDS going for Ugx 5000 and T-shirt for Ugx 25,000
