CEO of Channel 44 TV and founder of Miracle Centre Cathedral – Rubaga, Robert Kayanja on Sunday broke ground on a new proposed state-of-the-art Church building in Ntebetebe, Bweyogerere which is expected to draw thousands for worship services.

Miracle Celebration Centre, led by Macmare Edward and wife Christine Mackmare received Pastor Kayanja at about 3pm to pray and commission their construction project expected to take less than 3 years.

The Church construction plan was approved by the local government last month, and altogether they expect to spend over 2 million US dollars (about 7.4 billion shillings).
Miracle Celebration Centre lead Pastor, Macmare Edward and wife Christine Mackmare welcome Pastor Robert Kayanja.
Pr Edward in his remarks commended Robert Kayanja for the 77 Days of Glory revival meeting and donated $10,000 towards the publication of the Holy Spirit books.

“We want to plug in your anointing,” Pastor Edward told Kayanja.

Pastor Kayanja spoke with certainty that the church building will completed and urged believers to be innovative. “The anointing of construction is in the Church of Jesus,” he said.

He also praised President Museveni’s government for the freedom of worship in Uganda, noting that the number of Born-again Christians in Uganda has increased by strides over the last 30 years. He said Born-again Christians are 10 out of every 100 of Uganda’s population.

Pastor Kayanja pledged  77 million shillings towards the church construction.
