The management of popular Nigerian gospel singer, Ada Ogochukwu Ehi known simply as Ada has told UG Christian News that the singer will not be coming to Uganda.

Earlier in June, Ada’s official press contact and Manager, Steve Phronesis said that her visit to Uganda had been set for 16th September 2017. Steve said he would confirm the length of her visit and venue to this website at a later date.

This report left many Christians excited as media houses and concert planners attached to the visit made public the event dubbed, “Ada Live In Kampala.”

On Saturday, Steve told our reporter that “The whole arrangement and plan is not quite solidified.”

Yes, Ada is not coming, he said. The same response was received when we reached the singer on phone.

Sources elsewhere allege that her request as per the agreement for her visit was not fulfilled hence her coming kept pending or close to not coming

Many Christians find Ada’s style of music ministry unique, something that has enabled her make huge impact beyond the boarders of Nigeria.

“Only You”, “I Testify” are a few of several songs to her name that have become worship anthems in many Uganda Churches today, further crossing into the main-stream industry.

In Nigeria, her influence in the industry grew stronger when a woman suffering from a terminal condition, said she was restrained from committing suicide after hearing one of Ada’s songs.

Ada recently unveiled her latest music video  which is today reported to have surpasses a one million mark.

“It has been watched over 1.2 million times on video sharing platform within a month of its release.” The video director, Marvin Keyz told Nigeria’s press.

Ada, signed to LoveWorld Records, was announced to have been in Uganda with Sinach last year, but she was unable to make it due to unavailable circumstance as Christ Embassy Ministries announced during the worship night at Namboole National Stadium on the 14th of October, 2016.
