Internationally acclaimed Nigerian gospel singer Osinachi Kalu-Egbu — popularly known as Sinach has been honored at the 2016 LoveWorld International Music and Arts Awards (LIMA) as ‘Songwriter of the Decade’.

The red carpet awarding ceremony took place on Monday at LoveWorld Conference Arena Lagos, Nigeria.

In a class of her own, the virtuoso worship leader was specially recognized for her undeniable contribution to Christian music throughout the world.

Handing Sinach this award, the ministry reported that her music transcends genres and that she has written hundreds of original songs in the past 10 years alone — music that has helped countless millions worship God in the light of authentic revelations of the scripture.
