Renown music group, New Chapter Africa was on Saturday announced ‘Gospel Artist of the Year’ at the official Uganda Entertainment Awards (UEA) ceremony at Kampala Serena Hotel – Kampala.

Robinson Jomo, Antonio Amoot and Edwin Lutz who is C.E.O of the group, graced the prestigious event with fans who later took to social media to celebrate the win.

“We want to take this opportunity to thanks everyone for voting ,supporting and believing in us. This Awards belongs to everyone that took their precious time to vote. We are so blessed to be part of this year’s Awards. ” The group said in a release on Sunday.

Artists in the same category included; Exodus, Spring Gents, Jehovah Shalom and Levixone.

New Chapter Africa are based both in Uganda and South Africa. They are known for their breakthrough songs including Binji, Nabibuse and OMG.

The same group was nominated for the annual Starqt Awards scheduled for this summer in South Africa.

For the fourth time running, the Starqt Awards organized by former Miss Uganda South Africa, Stella Nankya, will recognize business, lifestyle, unsung heroes and entertainment personalities.
