CEO and Founder of Righteous Ministries International Apostle Eddie Sempala has launched a book titled ‘Uganda God’s Generals’,  that covers several well-known ministers of the gospel, who, as  he narrates are the fathers of the Pentecostal church in Uganda

The New book was launched on Sunday at Emerald Hotel, Kampala. Prior to the launch, Apostle Eddie took to social media saying that this book may seem of no use to some today but will be of benefit to the next generation of ministers.

“The fathers of the Pentecostal church in Uganda whom I’ve been meeting know it,” he stated

To review the book, Eddie says, “Our church history is important. We ought to learn to value and honor it and those who have gone before us and learn from them. This book talks about mainly men of God who have set a standard for others to follow. It’s written out of love and is not aimed at destroying any person’s reputation,”

Eddie further urges that the future of Uganda’s church lies in unity.

Cover HinderancesListed ministers include Apostle Deo Balabyekkubo, Professor Simeon Kayiwa, Bishop Morris Bukenya, Evangelist Drake Kanaabo, Bishop David Kiganda, Pastor George William Kyamuzungu, Prophet Brian Kagyezi, Bishop Isaiah Mbuga and others

Ap Eddie writes about Pr Morris Bukenya, who in the early 1970s had a divine encounter upon attending a crusade that changed his spiritual life. He joined the Redeemed Church in Makerere, which later evolved into Eden Revival Church in Wandegeya. Under the mentorship of spiritual leaders, he scaled the hierarchy, and before long, he rose to the position of pastor.

One other profound minister listed is Pastor Jotham Mutebi . In April 1978, Pastor Jotham Mutebi was leading prayers at Makerere Full Gospel Church when Idi Amin’s soldiers invaded the church and started shooting at the pulpit manically.

Eddie was raised from a Muslim background and accepted Jesus as Lord and savior at 13 years. He was called into an apostolic ministry at 14 years of age. He ordained into the healing ministry by Evangelist Daniel King.

He is the President of Righteous Ministries International which is under the covering of Dr. Mike Kingsley and Mission Possible team which advocates for abstinence from sex before marriage.

He has written books like Love, The essence of life, Looking Beyond, Going after your dream and Overcoming fear.
