Mr Gerald and Patricia Kabuubi dedicate their twins this week, as wife to senior Pastor of Praise Cathedral Ntinda, Pastor Edith Kamese holds them out.

It is indeed a true saying that delay doesn’t mean denial as a couple that prays from Praise Cathedral Church Ntinda dedicated their new born twins after waiting on God for the fruit of the womb.

Mr Gerald Kabuubi, an MTN member of staff and Patricia Kabuubi a few weeks ago welcomed twin babies after 9 years of waiting.

“Thank you for praying for us. I am not the other single lady, the barren woman… this and that…No, I am a mother now,” excited Patricia Kabuubi told the congregation as she testified to the Lord.

“One day as I was coming to church, a friend all excited said, “’Nalongo’ is here,” I was baffled. I sighed and thought to my self, “Something is wrong with this lady,”

Little did Patricia Know that this was a confirmation from God that something good is about to happen real soon.

“Those that came in first, I have caught up with them and actually rode past them.  All I want to do is give thanks, no time to worry. I thank God for my pastors. They never got tired of praying for me all these years. At one moment, I actually thought they were tired of praying for me but, they never did. Even when I was not around, they prayed for me,” she said.

“There was a moment at church when we were told to write our prayer point. This one issue always topped my list. Whenever service was done and every one heading home, I would with my husband remain at the church altar and present my petition before God. ” she further noted.

Waswa Sheon Mpagi and Kato Sheidon Kiyemba were born doing well although during the development stage, Patricia did receive slight complications. She says that the words of encouragement from Matthew 19:26 kept her hopeful, counting on God for this miracle.

“My pastor used to say these words, “God is able. All things are possible. There is nothing too impossible for God.” These are powerful words. More than you can imagine. There is nothing too hard for God. When I conceived, I got some slight complications. But, I told God that when You begin something, You bring it to pass. You do not end it right at the middle; You bring it to accomplishment,”

The entire church was left in total gratification as the married couple gave their testimony. On the other hand, Gerald, the father of the twins as short for words and only had a few heartfelt lines to accompany the dedication.

“I thank God for where he has taken we and where he is leading me. We visited the pastor one day and what she said was that, as God remembered Noah, in the same way will He remember us,” concluded Gerald

What are you believing God for?  Is there a goal or desire or dream you’ve given up on? Regardless of what happens, don’t doubt God’s ability, God’s goodness or God’s faithfulness. The same God that has showed up for Mr Gerald and Patricia Kabuubi will show up for you too.
