The Radio and Television Academy Awards (RTVA) have announced Gospel music program Mission 3:16 as Uganda’s most exceptional program 2016.

This announcement was made yesterday evening during the Award’s ceremony at Serena Hotel, Kampala.

Hosted by Olivia Ziwa, Mission 3:16 is an all-round Christian entertainment program that has transformed its audience through gospel music and positive discussions relevant to the Christian faith.

Olivia took to social media right after being announced winner, thanking the RTVA management, production crew at NBS and her fans.

“Thank you RTV Academy Uganda for recognizing and Rewarding our hard work and passion, and NBS TV for giving me this amazing platform to inspire and encourage others.” She said in part.

Olivia Ziwa has been in the media industry for over 10 years now – she is popular for programs ‘Mission 3:16’ and ‘Can Men Cook’, all of which air on national television NBS.

Notably, In 2014, the same program, Mission 3:16 won the same accolade. Later in 2015; Olivia was announced as the Hit Awards TV personality of the year.

Before joining NBS, Olivia worked with TOP TV where she hosted a teen’s show called ‘Top Teens’ for five years and later Flash Magazine.

Last year, Olivia was recognized and awarded by NBS for her exceptional work and contribution to the prominent media house.
