It is not easy for anyone to hear that they have cancer, let alone terminal breast cancer. Breast cancer is a huge opponent in the world of women, but terminal cancer is something that just boggles the mind and heart of any man or woman.

Although many women may get breast cancer and may live to tell about it, this disease continues to be the second most frequent type of cancer that kills women.

One out of every five women that fall victim to breast cancer will die from it each year. This is a huge statistic, but it reaches into multitudes of homes throughout the country.

Mary Naikumi, a lecturer at Mbarara university of Science and Technology, commonly known as Mbarara University suffered from terminal breast cancer for 2 solid years.

While the initial tumour that appears on a woman’s breast rarely kills, once the disease starts to eat away at other parts of the body it becomes incurable.

For this lecturer, her right breast had been cut off, and her right hand paralyzed as a result.

As Miracle Center Cathedral reports, by the time she came for the Church’s ongoing 77 Days of Glory (77 DOGs) deliverance service, season 2, she was on a 30-day-sick leave and was very weak due to the chemotherapy.

Her left breast had also become cancerous, oozing pus. She had to wear a diaper over it to stop the pus from dripping, which caused a terrible stench.

“Mary was touched by the power of God a month ago during the 77 Days Of Glory Friday overnight and was totally healed. The pus oozing from the breast stopped and dried up completely. She can now jump, scream, drive herself with no more paralysis in her hand; she is back to work.” The church says.

According to Prof Henry Wabinga, the Kampala Cancer Registry manager, an institution that monitors and regulates cancer treatment programmes in the country, the annual rise in the breast cancer incidences currently stands at six per cent.

That is not all for the happy lecturer who is now free from the cancer which was almost into its advanced stages.

As further reported, the Holy Spirit spoke to her that she would also receive the National Social Security Fund payment she had applied for when she was trying to get money for the medication which she hadn’t been able to afford and God made it happen too.

She received it, paid her tithe and brought her thanksgiving seed to the Church as well.
