MBALE – A daughter of an Imam in Mbale district, eastern Uganda has received Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior during a prayer service at Chosen Church of Christ in Namatala founded by Bishop Ben Alex Nabugodi.

While announcing the news on Sunday, Pastor Stephen Waiswa of Bible Evangelism Ministries – Kawempe said the new Christian convert’s father is an Imam of Mbale Masjid Biral.

“She (name undisclosed for security reasons) confessed that her father and mother lead a mosque as well as a shrine. Praise the Lord of all nations,” Pastor Waiswa Stephen said.

Stephen is currently in Mbale conducting crusades at several locations including Namabasa church of Uganda play ground.

Using gospel debates (better referred to as apologetic discussions), the Pastor has traveled across the country in an attempt to answer questions about relations between Muslims and Christians that continue to receive widespread attention in media and society at large.

His crusades at Katwe – clock tower near Entebbe stage run on nearly a daily basis, attracting crowds, majority Muslims.
