Nickelodeon has introduced a same-sex married couple on their cartoon “The Loud House”.
In this cartoon, an 11-year-old boy, Lincoln Loud, who has 10 sisters. The show follows his life and the adventures he gets himself into with his best friend Clyde, , whose parents are the gay couple.
According to E Online, the characters were voiced by Wayne Brady and Michael McDonald. In the episode where they were first showcased, they are dropping Clyde off for a sleepover.
The same-sex couple displayed in “The Loud House,” comes after the Disney Channel and Cartoon Network have already aired explicitly gay characters in some of their programming.
