American Christian hip-hop artiste Lecrae, also known as Lecrae Devaughn Moore has revealed it’s time for Ugandans to secure their tickets for his upcoming concert slated for June 8 at Lugogo Hockey Grounds, Kampala.

The three time Grammy Award winning rapper announced his ‘All Things Work Together World’ tour earlier in January much to his fans’ delight.

Tickets are now on sale, at lecrae.com/tour, and it is clear the demand for his upcoming events, not only in Uganda but also in other African countries, Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria is high.

The co-founder of Reach Records, Lecrae gained mainstream attention with the release of his debut mixtape, Church Clothes in 2012. In the years since, he has issued several albums including Gravity, which earned him a Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album in 2013.

Lecrae’s 8th studio album, ‘All Things Work Together’ released August 2017 is a purpose-driven effort of profound introspection and cunning social critique.

Never afraid to move the needle, he’s in command of both firepower and nuance on his 14-track Columbia Records debut, a transformative journey of healing-through-pain.

Speaking to local press about the album title, Lecrae said: “I went through hell — no pun intended — in 2015-2016, and it was just a tough time. The music I was putting out sounded really dark and emotional, but then I got to the other side and the light, the sun came out between the clouds in 2017 and I saw how everything kind of worked together. The pain and the suffering that I went through made me an activist, it made me stronger, it made me more compassionate.”
