Several of Kenya’s top gospel music artists and DJs have been confirmed for Levixone’s concert which is aimed at boosting the education sector of Karamoja district.

Hope Kid, Alemba, Kris Eroh, DJ Mo and others will be in Uganda on 14th October, 2017 at Uganda Museum to be apart of a cause set to restore hope among Children in Karamoja who gave up on studies due to poverty and scanty schools in this region that was initially a pool of war.

DJ Mo, co-host of gospel show, Crossover101 that airs on NTV Kenya took to social media with Alemba endorsing Levixone’s concert and the cause for which it is after.

Poverty is increasing and according to the Karimojong, this is as a result persistent poor harvest due to the dry spells and droughts, cattle rustling and insecurity, animal death, lack of water, poor farming practices, ill health and disability, lack of skills and unemployment, limited sources of income, poor governance, and landlessness.

“A lot is happening in Karamoja. I was there. I work with an organisation called Fields of life where I happen to be an ambassador in East Africa. They were their doing some work. On our journey back, I reflected upon much of what I had seen. So many children are not in school because these institutions are far.” Levixone, born 1993, told this website recently.

“I told the organisation that if there is anything we can do, it is building a school. It will be easy for Children to attend school. They will give us a hand but furthermore, that is why we are doing this concert.” Levixone stated.

The “Samanya” hit singer recently tried to help the needy children in northern Uganda through Fields of Life  with whom they collected Shs10m after a charity drive.

Away from that, Levixone, born Sam Lukas Lugolobyo is currently running several programs in the slum area of Kosovo, Lugala, Kampala.

Through a charity organisation, 92 Hands, they are supporting single mothers and orphaned children cope up with the harsh conditions in slums. They provide basic necessities that include food, scholastic requirements and moral/spiritual support to the residents.
