KAMPALA – Edrisa Musuuza, known professionally by his stage name Eddy Kenzo, a Ugandan main stream artist best known for his 2014 song “Sitya Loss” was one of thousands who attended Levixone’s ‘historical’ gospel concert at Lugogo Cricket – Oval in Kampala on Saturday.

His presence at the gospel event came as a surprise to many believers who know the singer to be Muslim.

Eddy Kenzo commended Levixone’s music, and also thanked Pastor Aloysius Bujjingo of House of Prayer ministries International located in kikoni, Makerere, Kampala.

“I saw you on TV supporting this man (referring to Levixone,) let this not stop here, do the same continuously,” Kenzo said.

It was during his open chat with Levixone, that the 29-year-old declared before the audience that ‘Yesu wamanyi’ – a luganda word loosely translated to mean ‘Jesus is Powerful.’

Levixone said Kenzo cancelled plans to go to Ghana in order to be at the gospel concert.

“There is a point at which felt as though everything was weighing down on me. I needed money – Kenzo told me not to say this –  but where I come from we give credit. Eddie Kenzo called me and gave me money. May God bless you. You told me not to disclose this, but may the almighty God that I serve give you your hearts desires,” Levixone said.

“Eddie Kenzo is a good man – I am always praying for him and telling him about how powerful Jesus is,” Levixone added. “You might think everything is already well, but God is going to lift you.”

Levixone later asked the audience to lift their hands and pray for Kenzo’s salvation.

Notably, Levixone was gifted with a Mercedez-Benze by fellow musician, Afande Lanek.

The 25-year-old urged the attendees: “we serve a big God. Please trust Him and let Him work in you .

The concert showcased live for over 5 (five) hours on Church-owned station, Salt TV.

Pastors present included Apostle Grace of Phaneroo Ministries, Pastor Bugembe of the Worship House – Nansana and Pastor Aloysious Bujjingo among others.

Artists that ministered included Alemba, Dk Kwenye Beat, Kris Erroh, Dj Mo, Hope Kid, Mr Seed; all from Kenya, Abel Chungu from Zambia, and John Marie, Coopy Bly, Fortune Spice, Robinsan, Jk Shine, Jeremiah, Maurice Kirya from Uganda among others
