The seasons have changed; the generation is in need of music with life. Positive music, gospel, inspirational, whatever you want to name it – what matters is that you’re teaching, sharing experiences drawn from your relationship with God.

She is known as a musical trailblazer who has influenced Christians and a wide range of gospel artists across genres. Just when you think you have heard the very best from her, sounds incomparable to the former pop up.

Jackie Senyonjo has officially released the highly anticipated single titled “Waleta Essanyu”.

With this new release, one will agree that Jackie’s 8 years of ministry have made an indelible mark on Uganda’s music and the sounds of gospel.

Releasing the song yesterday, one of her fans on Facebook Makubuya Michael commented saying, “never stop to minister to my heart with your music dear. This is a great song Jackie Senyonjo. May God continue to anoint you. Cant wait for October,”

“Waleta Essanyu” is a luganda word to literally mean you brought joy. With repeated mention of the name of Jesus, the slow tempo song defines the value we place on who God is in our lives and where God is on our list of priorities.

The blissful mother of three, song writer and choir director has released a number of songs including Nandibadewa, Netaaga Gwe , Grateful, Bumper, Okooye, Bigambe Mukama, Tuwaye among others

Through the new song, she reminds us that Worship is meant for honor with extravagant love and extreme submission.

True worship is shallow if it is solely an acknowledgement of God’s wealth. Psalm 96:5-6 says, “For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and glory are in his sanctuary.”

“2009 I started Solo ministry after singing in a choir for years. 5 albums down the road and it has been hilarious, challenging, interesting, adventurous ‘what should I say, what should I not say’….Mukama abadde mulungi (God has been good)”, Jackie remarked, inviting her fans for her upcoming concert slated for 1st of October at the Mtn Arena Lugogo.
