Gospel star Ada to grace Christ Embassy crusade in Kampala

Ada Ogochukwu Ehi

Ada Ehi, a popular Nigerian gospel musician and songwriter known for singles, I Testify and Only You Jesus among others is expected to grace a gospel crusade organised by Christ Embassy Church in Kampala on the 8th of June, 2018.

The Zonal Pastor of Christ Embassy East African Virtual Zone, Pastor Louis Osademe, will be the keynote preacher.

Ada, Christ Embassy Uganda announced, will be joined by Eden and Agent Snypa.

This will be at Lugogo Criket Oval starting 4pm – Free Entry.

Not relenting in her pursuit of excellence, Ada has continued to minister to many Christians through music, since the debut of her latest album Future Now, Undenied, which was released in 2009, and a follow up with a double disc sophomore album Lifted and Softly, released in November 2013.

Her arrival into the professional gospel music scene was heralded by media as fresh, original and lifting with an amazing global impact, which has earned her recognition within and outside Nigeria.

On the story behind her popular singles, I Testify and Only You Jesus, Ada, speaking at a ‘meet and greet’ presser in Nigeria said: “I wanted to show that everyone has a testimony –  If you look closely at your life you will see the signature of God and you will testify. I also wanted something that will inspire people, joy, happiness, gratitude, togetherness.”

“Only You Jesus talks about the resurrection of Jesus, and the rhythm of the song is very African; so we had to bring it home, trying to portray normal situations like no jobs, crisis, and then how God steps in when we need him,” she continued.

“Music is what I do for living. Though I’m an engineer, I have not practice since my graduation. Moreso, I’m married and have children I must attend to; so music affords me the opportunity conveniently take care of my family. It grants me the luxury of being a mother, minister, wife and a Christian.” she added.

Ada, signed to LoveWorld Records, was in times past twice expected in Uganda, but she was unable to make it due to unavailable circumstance, as Christ Embassy Uganda, and later her Management announced.
