An American Pastor from Oasis Church, Los Angeles has during his visit to Uganda said the presence of God in this nation is so strong.

Pastor Julian Lowe made these remarks while addressing Christians at Watoto Church located in the capital – Kampala.

“I have found, being here for a few days that the presence of God in this nation – and every city I have visited – and this church – is so strong. Back home in LA, it would be one of my passions to help people understand the value and the power of the presence of God,” he said.

Pastor Julian said Gary and Marilyn Skinner, the visionary leaders of Watoto Ministries, are legends throughout the world for how “God has used them mighty in this country.”

In his sermon of over 30 minutes, the guest preacher centered his teaching on faith, urging that people of faith, “are perhaps the most powerful force in the universe.”

“When you live by faith you are living by assurance that if God said it, he will do it. The biggest reason God does what He does is because He said so,” Pastor Julian said.

“The Word of God is powerful. One word from God will change an entire circumstance. One word from God can turn Kampala upside down,” he continued.

The preacher urged the congregation to have faith for salvation.

“God wants to give you faith for salvation. He wants you to believe that everyone can be saved – Believe that every single person in Uganda would know the Lord,” he said.

“The bible says by faith we understand that God created the universe from nothing. Genesis Chapter one reveals that when God showed up to the earth, it was dark, void, and without form. Literally, God showed up to the earth and saw nothing. He spoke His word, and nothing became something,” he continued.

“If faith is the evidence of things unseen, that means by faith we understand that God can create something from nothing. You are the best candidate for a people of faith if you have nothing – You can praise God is you have nothing because He can make something from nothing,” he explained.

The Pastor urged believers to put their faith to work, noting further that faith comes by hearing the Word of God.
