Have you ever wondered why God chooses people you feel don’t fit to be leaders? Well, today I will show you something. God uses interested people. We will refer to Exodus 1:19-3:4 and Matt 27:61, 28:16.

Exodus 1:19 – we discover some qualities in Moses that made him chosen

He was self driven. Exodus 2:11-13, Moses didn’t wait for bells to do what is right. When he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, he swung into action without waiting for bells. Many people want God to use them but they wait for trumpets. Well, God looks for self motivated men and women.

Had zeal for the kingdom of God. He could not look on and do nothing. He knew these are God’s people. Many people don’t care even when an uproar involves God’s kingdom. They feel totally nothing. Well, zeal for God and his kingdom must move you first; it must be in you that everything else waits when it comes to God’s work and kingdom.

Moses was a true servant leader. Exodus 2:16-21. Can you serve people you don’t know at all and be able to satisfy them if it is no pretense? Absolutely no. It must be in your very nature. Moses was a true servant leader. One that uses every opportunity to serve without expecting a return.

At the end, servant leadership won him a house where to stay, a wife and a job. How many people are homeless today? How many are looking for jobs but in avail? Well, to some of us who know the power of growing great through serving, marriage came just like that even when many thought we didn’t deserve. Jobs look for us, because every boss looks for true servants. Promotion hunts us down and stability is our portion. But in the eyes of the elite, we are not worthy, but to him who measures hearts, servant hood has given us an age over beauty, over experience and qualifications.

Men who understand this cannot miss to be caught by the searching eye of God. Exodus 3 shows you the result, not only where men running for Moses, even God was too.

Don’t wait for bells,  seek to grow as a servant leader and the world of jobs, marriage, promotion will run for you, stability will be your portion and God will use you too. SELF WILL, SELF DRIVEN.
