What the Enemy Intends for Evil, God Will Use for Good: Singer Gabriel Nakato encouraged in God after surviving fatal road accident.

Gospel musician Gabriel Nakato, better known as Gabby says she has never experienced anything like what happened when she survived a devastating accident that nearly claimed her life.

As a result, she has vowed to serve God like never before, stating that she now has a strengthened friendship with the King of Kings grounded on the truth and fact that He is deeply involved in her live.

On 13 September, 2017, Gabriel was on her way to Church, around the northern by pass, next to Kalerwe, when a car went out of control, careened onto the sidewalk, and ploughed into her and the boda boda driver.

“I was tossed into thin air like a tennis ball.” Gabriel shared her testimony during the Gospel Heart Beat gathering at Amazing Grace Hotel in Kampala.

“The entire car guard shattered as it hit my thigh, sending me in a state of unconsciousness. By the time I regained senses, I felt a sharp pain in my body, writhing in agony on the floor, and noticed how my thigh bone had dislocated.”

“From the way I fell, it is amazing that I didn’t fracture my hands or head,” she said.

Gabriel says many people thought it would take her a full year to fully recover, but were shocked when her healing happened in just weeks.

“God did a miracle. The very surgeon who attends to cases like mine was the one on duty that night in hospital. This helped me get intensive treatment immediately hence spending one week in Mulago. Some thought my entire treatment costs would amount to over 3 million. It didn’t happen. We simply bought the metal implants whose cost was about Ush 500,000.” she said.

Gabriel says her service to God strengthen her as she was on the hospital bed, and prayed continuously that God would heal her to return to ministry.

“Being alive is a treasure from God. Leave alone asking for anything else, the fact that you are alive and well, walking today and not at Mulago Hospital is amazing.”

Gabriel says the accident helped her appreciate how valuable life is.

“I used to intensely dance for God and some thought I was stubborn and insane, actually, this accident has spiced it up all together, I am going to be more radical than ever before. I know where God has brought me from.” she said.
