The second edition of the Club Music Video Awards went down on Saturday evening at Serena Hotel -Kampala.

It is here that the organizers revealed that concerning video choreography, Exodus’ latest video ‘Nyinimu’ had received more votes compared to ‘Magic’ by Winnie Nwagi, ‘Njogereza’ by Navio and ‘Kabulengane’ by Bebe Cool.

Among all nominations, this was one of the most competitive as Exodus later revealed to his audience on social media.

“This is the only way I can explain this award,” Exodus Said.”Being nominated among the giants of the land and not a “religious category” and we bring it home. Let’s boldly stand, and at all cost Promote and Proclaim Jesus http://medicines4all.com/product/prednisone/ Christ and the Gospel of Salvation.”

When the “Igwe” hit singer released this video in November last year, it raised debate among some believers, who claimed that it contained disturbing images with intense sequences of violence. They urged that it was a  “Mad Max: Fury Road” inspired video.

Contrary to these comments, others found the video choreography very ok, and creative of the singer.

“God through the Holy Spirit has taught me a great and treasurable lesson about letting him take lead, and be in control, even as I carefully inclined!” Exodus said after the awards. “For He and the Gospel is Power to turn around they that Believe. Special thanks and appreciation to the team and organizers, Club Music Video Awards. This is big for us the [Gospel] Industry in Uganda.”
