Fans of Gospel music are in for a treat when ‘The Beat Connect’ returns right at the beginning of next month.

This special music event will take place on 2nd June 2017 at Garden City Rooftop, Kampala.

This annual celebration, which brings together the best in local Gospel music, has quickly become Uganda’s highly anticipated Gospel event, and is expected to attract many Christians from throughout the city and its suburbs.

The event is the vision of King Wesley, who is a show host at Christian radio Spirit Fm 96.6 FM.

His program took the top spot among several Religious Urban Breakfast shows at the RTV Academy Awards 2015. He has appeared as an MC and judge of numerous prestigious gospel events and awards around the country. Wesley is also a singer.

“Above all else am a son, brother, friend and most importantly a servant of the Most High God. I have a vision for this industry but am just one man and it’s a huge industry so I decided, I will faithfully see my vision through no matter the Price,” he recently told UG Christian News.

This event last year featured Dafari, one of Kenya’s finest exports as far as gospel ragga and reggae is concerned.

This year, you can expect among others D.Reign, Levixone, New Testament, Morgan Isaac and Exodus.

“To the rest of the world, Christians are boring but to us who have the contrary revelation, we know we are the actual fun house. So I have organized this event to showcase that,” said King Wesley then.

‘The Beat Connect’ will begin 6pm, entry Ush 10,000.
