Well-known gospel musician and Director of Yimba Uganda, Emmanuel Kusasira Edwin alias Coopy Bly welcomed a bouncing baby girl just a few hours in the new year.

Emmanuel and his wife Anne-Marie Reddan, welcomed Zaabu Malaika on the 1st of January 2019, weighing 3.9kg (8.6 pounds). 

In a social media Post, the ‘Wakayima’ hit singer thanked God for the safe delivery adding that Anne-Marie and Malaika are well and healthy. 

“While everybody was welcoming in the new year, my wife and I were busy welcoming the newest addition to our family,” he wrote.

Coopy Bly and Anne-Marie exchanged their wedding vows on November 26, 2016 at Watoto Church – downtown and later ushered their family, friends and well wishers to a groundbreaking reception within the Capital.

Their wedding left the gospel industry in utter excitement as fellow artists, pastors and fans flooded social media with congratulatory messages, and pictures from the colourful wedding.

As this website reported earlier, the “Sida Mukyalo” hit singer took his love for Annie to a whole new dimension when he proposed during a video shoot in 2015.

Together, they are the founders of Yimba Uganda, a youth-run non-government organization that equips Ugandan youth with sustainable income generating skills through vocational training and education.

They offer a wide variety of income generating skills and trades, including; tailoring, fashion and design course, a music mentorship program and an agriculture and farming project.
