Ssenyonjo Hassan better know as Mc Kaberenge has apologised to Pastor Aloysius Bujjingo and the entire House of Prayer Ministries International fraternity for imitating the Church leader during his comedy shows.

Hassan, who formerly professed belief in Islam, on Sunday told Pastor Bujjingo that he is ready to give his life to Christ, and put an end to taking His name in vain.

“I want to apologies to all Born-again Christians and Pastors who have been hurt by my actions. This is something I have been doing in quest for money, and I know Pr Bujjingo must be annoyed with me,” Ssenyonjo said.

The comedian gained nation wide fame starting last year when videos in which he mimicked Pr Bujjingo praying, preaching or critiquing various social issues appeared online.

He was in April hosted on what is deemed to be one of comedy’s biggest stages, Comedy Store.

“I don’t know what happened to me yesterday (referring to Saturday) because I rarely listen to radio. When I tuned in, I heard the gospel being preached by the Man of God,” the Ohrions comedy member said, explaining that this moved him to repentance.

“I played comedy but did so on the wrong person. I ask for your forgiveness because I don’t want to be punished in heaven,” Hassan said.

In his submission, Pr Bujjingo expressed excitement over the comedian’s decision to reform and asked the Church to speak blessings over him.

“Do you see how powerful the gospel is,” Pr Bujjingo told the congregation.
