Worship House – Nansana lead Pastor Wilson Bugembe led a team of believers to go out into the streets, and share the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people.

In a statement shared online on Monday, Pastor Bugembe who doubles as a gospel musician, said the church went ahead and also donated gifts to elderly people for their Christmas.

For people living in Nansana, unemployment has spiralled in the last year, with many of young people out of work. This, among many more issues have pushed marginalised residents into depression, conflict, gambling and crime.

For Pastor Bugembe, through Church on the Street, he has an opportunity to gather people seeking healing, encouragement, acceptance, spiritual fulfilment, and Christian community to associate and relate with. Some of the attendees are street children.

“We preach, sing, pray for the sick, share the gospel, and ultimately lead people to Jesus,” he earlier remarked.

“We carry Christ’s Great Commission by reaching out to all people to bring them to faith in Him,” he added.

The Church believe that every human being, regardless of whether they are housed or unhoused, deserves to hear the message of salvation.
