These new photos of Victory City Church Rubaga are spreading like a wildfire.

Last week, the Church opened wide the doors to a house they built for one of the Police officers in Wakaliga, Kampala, Uganda during their ’40 days of love’ campaign.

The old house was built from mud, its walls were weathered and peeling off in spots. The windows were gaping square holes for the wind to rush in and out through and the door hung on it’s hinges at a jaunty angle, although at the time of construction, it was really just a frame.

To this, the Church handed out several gifts to other station officers at Wakaliga as a way of appreciating them for their service to the community.

Their outpouring of Christ’s love has additionally seen over 30 bodaboda men give their lives to Christ.

“I remember this one particular week where we were reaching out to strangers. And their is one church member who reached out to a cleaner at their workplace. The cleaner was in tears,” One Church member remarked “The cleaner could not believe that this person who was above them in rank at their Job [could] reach out, seat down with them and talk to them, encourage them.”

Following their 40 days of love campaign, the Church says its vision has always been to reach out to the community with love.

“We always have this question, how can we transform our community in a way that is going to show them the love of Jesus Christ? Many times as we go through life, the people we ignore most are the people who are closest to us. We have began a new lifestyle, love is now what defines us!” They say.
