Preachers from USA in partnership with Pearl Haven Christian Center in Mbale are set to distribute thousands of Bibles during door-to-door evangelism efforts and large outdoor crusades in the country.

In a statement shared online Tuesday, Pearl Haven Ministries announced that “1,080 Bibles loaded to start their long journey to Uganda.”

The bibles will arrive together with a consignment by Libraries of love, an NGO that seeks to promote literacy in Africa by partnering with relevant authorities to create libraries in individual schools, provide financial support to assist in the educational development of individuals, and address humanitarian needs in Africa.

“Praise God from whom all blessings flow,” remarked Mr John Brattlof, who together with fellow preacher, Paul Ortega launched Pearl Haven Ministries as a 501(c)3 charity.

The two preachers have since 2012 been raising money and sending teams to Uganda to help with evangelism efforts.
