USA  — Ten time Grammy Award winner and multi-platinum-selling gospel legend CeCe Winans continues to make headlines with her new album released after nine years.

The singer received two more Grammys to her name on Sunday following the prestigious 60th Annual Grammy Awards in  New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

She brought home the Grammy for Best Gospel Performance/Song for “Never Have To Be Alone” and her album “Let Them Fall In Love.”

For the last 30+ years, Cece Winans has inspired listeners with unflinching lyrics combined with first-class production, paired with a soaring alto that sets her apart from the pack.

After winning 10 Grammys, she did not record a solo CD for nine years. In 2016, she announced her new album, ‘Let Them Fall In Love’ which was released 3rd February, 2017 – collaborating with her son, Alvin Love III.

“My husband and I started a church about five years ago, and we’ve been really focused on that,” Winans told media at her home in Nashville.  “I turned around and realized it had been about 10 years since I’d put out brand new music.  As I look back on it, God is amazing because He knew that my husband and I would be focused on the church that he was birthing out.”

“My son came up with this whole vision of this particular record. So I already knew what I wanted to do and we were ready to go in and make it happen,” she continued.

“I want people to hear these songs, and I want them to connect with falling in love with (God). I am totally convinced that when we receive God’s love, and we learn to love him back, that’s when we will really learn how to love one another.” she added.

Winans was not present to issue her acceptance speech at the Awards night, but soon took to social media in a video to offer her thanks to God.
