Canaan Gents: Founded in 2010, the group is composed of five (L-R); Charles Ssentongo, Marc Tugume Ruhindi, Samuel Lubwama , Samuel Redking and Kawuki Isaac.

Talented acapella singing group the Canaan gents today announced that one of their members Marc Tugume will be leaving the country for wales.

Tugume, who sings alto within the basic voices, will be setting off for further studies – a masters degree in Law (LLM), the group announced through their official Facebook page.

Marc finalized his bachelors degree at Uganda Christian University in 2015.

Following the recent welcome of Samuel Redking, the group will continue as a foursome for now.

“Its been a memorable journey with you Marc Tugume, the jokes, the fun, the challenges we have overcome, the singing, we cant say it all in just a Facebook post. You have been a true gentleman and a brother, as you embark on this new path may God continue to bless you.” they wrote.

The Gentlemen prayed that Marc will keep serving God diligently, further appealing to their audience to wish him a safe journey as he sets off for the UK.
