When we look at the Bible, we see God giving us story after story of hot messes, people who were murderers, adulterers, liars, thieves, cheaters, people that were full of mess and sin, and God not only forgave them but then used them for amazing purposes.

Don’t you think there is a reason that God chose to share so many of those stories throughout Scripture?

Light the World Church Senior Pastor Wilson Bugembe, through his Sunday sermon shared on social media, says that it is the story that upholds the glory.

In other wards, to every glory there is a story.

His sermon reminds me that, the coolest part about our ugly mess is that, when surrendered to God, it offers a beginning to an amazing transformation; My past experiences, lay a foundation of stone. One becomes a walking testimony to the love, mercy, and grace of Christ.

Speaking about Patience with reference to Exodus 23:30, Wilson Bugembe says that fruit without roots can be deadly.

He urges that Money can be an amplifier of what is inside a man’s heart. “If you are a liar, It will just amplify what is inside you, ”

Are you a growing Christian? It doesn’t matter the pace, little by little you should grow on toward maturity. However, some of us want to get to the top, without counting from one.

He says that its okay to have a lot of wealth as long as there is a story to explain it. “Fruit without roots can be deadly. So if you are growing little by little, don’t be impatient. Be grateful, its normal,”

“The good news is you are getting to the river not to the desert. I have heard preachers who say if you are not so rich or without many acres of Land, houses you are not yet blessed. They make you feel like God has Not loved you enough. I disagree, God has blessed you already and He is Still blessing you,” he wrote.
