We live in a culture that teaches us to hide our mess-ups and call them anything except the sins that they are. Day by day, insecurities continues to pile up as we battle sin we think is infrangible.

If you’re reading this today and feel like Jesus wants nothing to do with you, I want you to know that He will break every possible barrier to reach you. Jesus is so serious about the task that He left heaven and came to earth to restore anyone who is willing to be cleansed.

You are not the worst, says renown Pastor and worship minister Brian Lubega through one of his social media daily devotionals.

God knows our troubles and our happiness. He made each one of us special, and he wants to have a personal relationship with each of us.

Does your past scare Jesus? One of the many things I love about Him [Jesus] is that He gravitates toward those who are typically ignored, ridiculed, hated and rejected.

Jesus is not intimidated by our past. He sees beyond our failures and offers us a faithful future. You can’t do anything so bad that it will cause God to love you less.

Brian Lubega says God is still in the business of lifting us out of the dung hill. I totally agree. Daily the Lord seeks to renew us and make us more like His son. We are work in progress and if we simply let Him, we will be amazed at what the final product – for His glory. The worst person you can imagine can receive God’s forgiveness by humbly asking for it.

Today, you can meet with Jesus, bring Him your mess-ups, and allow Him to clean you up.

It doesn’t matter the kind, it doesn’t matter the height, it doesn’t matter the width, God is lifting you out and now, Brian Lubega says.

God’s not just some mighty ruler who looks down at earth and sees a bunch of nameless people running around. He knows each one of us by name.

There is no depth of sin to which a person can sink, that God’s mercy and grace cannot rescue us from.
