Pastor Wilson Bugembe has announced that this weekend, renowned Ghanaian actor Majid Michel will be in Kampala, Uganda for the very first time.

In a 1 minute 34 second video, Pastor Bugembe took the exciting news to his fans and the entire church on social media today, urging that he received an email from popular film director and producer Pascal Amanfo confirming the details. “I couldn’t believe it,” he, with anticipation emphasized.

The two will come along with Timothy Bentum, one of the actors of Venus films.

His story: May 30th, 2016 actor Majid Michel shared a photo on Instagram that got everyone talking.

In his post, Majid revealed he has found God after believing for a long time that he doesn’t exist.

According to him, his gazing at the sky brought about his new faith in Christ. Now speaking, Majid is all for Christ and living right, he is clearly not keeping his new found faith a secret.

He was the star of the acclaimed 2008 film, Agony of the Christ, which received seven 2009 African Movie Academy Award nominations. Michel has two children named Zara and Kiera.

Venus films actor Timothy Bentum also opened up on the destructive days of his past to the press, where he was addicted to cocaine that nearly destroyed everything he had ever worked for.

Bentum has since turned his life around and is now a bona fide man of God. He says that he fell into his terrible addiction because he ignored the Christian training his parents had drilled into him.

Under Light the World Church Youth Impartation conference, the gathering is themed “The God Factor”.

It is expected that the actors will share their story for 2 days, from 22nd to 23rd July, 2016 at Light the World Church Nansana, free entry.
