Christian charity organisation, Kyampisi Childcare Ministries (KCM) says that two young men who miraculously survived attempted child sacrifice in June 3rd 2014 have safely returned home after successful surgeries in Australia.

One of the two boys, only identified as Robert, was rescued from a brutal child human sacrifice ritual after a machete had been stabbed through his neck damaging his spinal cord and living him disabled.

Robert was unable to walk for three years even when the organisation sought expertise within the nation. On 2nd June, he arrived in Australia at the John hunter Hospital in Newcastle where a surgery was performed.

Benson on the other hand, had to use a catheter and bag after a shonky medico amputated his penis last year. Surgeons had to reconstruct his manhood to be able to live normally again. He receive his surgery in Brisbane mater Hospital, Kyampisi Childcare Ministries says.

It cost the organisation $30,000 to cover their flights, accommodation, escorts, visas medication and other needs. The surgeries were done at a free cost.

Child sacrifice in Uganda is such a serious and widespread problem that forced government to set up an anti-child sacrifice and human trafficking task force.

Chief investigator Moses Binoga who heads up the agency recently told press that in addition to decapitation and genital mutilation, witch doctors often slice the child’s tongue and mix it with herbs for special powers.

Kyampisi Childcare Ministries in March 2017 joined undercover detectives and armed police hunting for a witch doctor who has been accused of kidnapping and killing children.

The Charity head, Pastor Peter Sewakiryanga describes this organisation as is the only in Uganda providing long-term financial and medical care for survivors of child sacrifice.

“We want to see that the life of a child who has survived is supported, that they are socially able to stand and heal from the injuries, and that they can have a life after that,” Pastor Sewakiryanga recently said.

Robert and Benson returned with (a one) Mary who also had surgery after swallowing a corrosive substance that injured and blocked her throat from being able to allow in food or liquid for 10 years.

“She has been feeding in a tube inserted in her stomach”, the organisation said, noting that “each has a painful story to tell but we praise the Lord for the amazing miracles only He can do that have brought hope for their future.”
