Patrick Makumbi, the founder and presiding Bishop of Global Gospel Healing Ministries has reconciled with Bishop David Kiganda, the senior pastor of Christianity Focus Centre in Mengo, Kisenyi.

The two were long caught up in conflict following a confession by Joseph Kato Mukasa, who claimed He was paid to tarnish Makumbi’s name.

Mukasa told media reporters that he had been paid by preachers, David Kiganda, Lwere, Solomon Male and Junior Matovu to falsely pin Bishop Makumbi for defrauding followers.

He reportedly claimed that Bishop Makumbi and wife had used him to hoodwink followers and the entire public into believing that he had been prayed for and delivered from cannibalism, demonic spirits and witchcraft to which he had been dedicated and initiated in Mwanza, Tanzania when aged only five.

Bishop Makumbi later reported the case to court at Twed Towers Kampala, convicting fellow Pastors for tarnishing his name.

He presented Mukasa to Church where he testified before the congregation and was later taken to Channel 44 TV where he pinned the above mentioned preachers.

This did not go well with Bishop Kiganda who on finding out hosted a TV program uncovering Mukasa’s fake craft

He revealed through his ministry station and radio that Mukasa was making a false confession. This is where conflict between the two pastors had its way.

However on Thursday last week, a press conference at Garden Hotel Zana, along Nnyanama saw Bishop Makumbi apologize to Bishop Kiganda for tarnishing his name.

Bishop Kiganda also apologized to Makumbi for what was aired through his radio station.

At this presser organised by a one Reuben Kwagala, Joseph Kato Mukasa claimed responsible for the conflict between the two parties, as he initially did a while back in court.

He was thoroughly questioned by the preachers and journalists in the bid of letting the public know the whole truth.

Mukasa revealed that he started conning born again Christians from 2003 after listening to a recording by Ben Katamba who testified saying that he was a devil worshiper, often exploiting born again Christians.
