If practically any other musician made this statement, it probably wouldn’t have been that big of a deal. gkjBut because it was A Pass, the facebookpost was sent into a tizzy as many of his fans responded in the same devout perspective.

Alexander Bagonza, better known by his stage name A Pass (and formerly APassKiller).

A Pass has worked with a number of producers in the Reggae and Dancehall genre including Alex from Uganda, Jamaica and the Late Mac Elvis (South Syde).

He is one musician and songwriter who is not ‘Churchy’ as you would call. He yesterday took it to social media, talking about his journey as a singer, a story he backed up with strong words of encouragement to his fans.

He revealed that, the first time he performed on a big show. It was on “#KonshensAndAlaine” were they made him perform at around 5:30 in the evening before most people came in.

“The funny thing is that on this day I was very sick but I still performed because I would not miss this opportunity, I tried my best but it was not what I really wanted, I felt like I failed myself with my performance and my voice due to the sickness but I did my part and left the stage,” He said

“This year he voiced ‘Gamululu’ and it came as a surprise.
He asked me what the song was all about and the next time I heard from him, He had voiced the song…… I couldn’t believe it but I had 2 Lol,” he further stated.

Coming to the climax of the story, his lessons were, “hard work, put in all your effort and be positive you never know what plans God has for you,” bringing us to Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) – For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
