Michael D. Kyazze, the senior pastor of Omega International Ministries Uganda has called upon Christians, and all well wishers from all walks of life to grace the Kampala City Festival, especially the Christian Stage.

Kampala City Festival is a signature brand that draws multitudes to Kampala every first Sunday of October to celebrate culture, unity and provides immense networking opportunities for business.
2015 attracted over 4 million revelers cutting across different age groups and races.

The 5th edition of Kampala City Festival will take place on the 2nd October, 2016. It’s a Black-Yellow-Red affair, as the celebration organizers confirm.

This year’s festival is expected to be celebrated for more than one day as it has been in the past.

The executive director of the Kampala Capital City Authority Mrs. Jennifer Semakula Musisi said that the festival will have pre-festival activities which will include a vintage cars show, a motor rally and city cyclists among others.

“Every City must come from the grieving of the pain of breaking that they may build. So Kampala has a reason to celebrate. Any person who is aiming for anything progressive must endure the pain and rejoice for the success that has come out of the pain,” Pr Kyazze affirms.

“As Christians, we have a reason to celebrate because we see God transforming our city. We appreciate the storms God is calming down…we do not appreciate any other hand, but the God who has been with us through the year,”

“Political barriers are buried, religious barriers are rested. Differences that we hold high in times when we are intensively applying our selves in the market place are all rested. And it is a moment to forget the past and enjoy…,”
