Successful church fundraising can be a daunting prospect. Yet organizing a great fundraiser is a fantastic way to support your faith, church and community.

High Praise Dancers, a youth group that expresses the heart of God through dance have organised a dance production, whose inspiration comes from 1 Corinthians 13.

This will take place at Deliverance Church – MakerereHill, in Uganda’s Capital.

Labelled  ‘Man With A Heart, the dance production talks about Love and its power. It will showcase mainly contemporary dance styles like Hip Hop, Salsa, Contemporary Ballet and House.

“Our inspiration is dancer David in the bible who was known as a man after God’s heart in Acts 13. Our theme is taken from the theme of Deliverance Church Makerere Hill on Love. We realize that a person after God’s heart has a heart of love and love is all the attributes as described in 1Cor 13. We took this idea of a dance concert further and are using this as an opportunity to raise money for the building of Deliverance Church Makerere Hill,” the team working on the production told Ug Gospel Life.

The concert will feature performances from CLAY Dance Company, ADG, Symphony and the Worship Harvest Dance Team.

Showing on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 September 2016, both shows start at 7pm.

Renowned gospel rapper Edwin Ruyonga is expected to grace the event.

Fee: UgSh5,000 children & UgSh10,000 adults.
