This week we continue off with Brian Lubega’s series dedicated to equipping gospel artists. There’s this teetering sensation when you (a gospel artist)  know you have something good. How do you handle your producer? People you work with in releasing a song are just as importantly people you trust with your art, your songs.

Exodus 30:34-35

Gather fragrant spices_resin droplets, mollusk shell, galbanum and mix these fragrant spices with pure frankincense, weighed out in equal amounts.

Using the usual techniques of the incense maker, blend the spices together and sprinkle them with salt to produce a pure and holy incense.

Time is one of factors that we artists ignore.  Someone takes the song in the studio, and then they want it ready in one week or two weeks, forgetting that everything has a process.

Production is not a quick fix work, or a fast food chain. And since a producer is a worshiper, it’s important to allow him to offer his worship through production.

I know you want to be heard, may be your song to play on the radio station, by the way who said when you do it quick, then they will play it quick?

So if the producer has given your gift room, give his gift room to gather, mix, weigh and blend things together so as to have something that fits on the altar.
