23-year-old, Kosovo based gospel singer Levixone Lala has for the second year in a row won the best gospel artiste award at the annual Uganda Entertainment Awards (UEA) 2016 that took place at Serena Hotel Kampala.

Receiving the award last night, Levixone with such great joy and humility appreciated God, bringing his fellow colleagues in the same category on stage to speak during his award acceptance.

Levixone, born Sam Lukas Lugolobyo, is the first born of ten children. Of these, he is the only one who doesn’t share a father with the nine. He grew up with his mother and step father in Kosovo, Lungujja.

More than 41 categories were announced in June and among these, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Julie Mutesasira, Exodus and Levixone were nominated under the category of Best Gospel artiste.

The colorful night saw Robert Kayanja, the founder and Senior Pastor of Miracle Centre Cathedral handed a nobel award for a number of causes that include commitment to youth mentor-ship and community transformation.

Miracle Centre Cathedral has founded over 1,000 Miracle Centre Churches across the country.
