The fourth edition of Victoria Gospel Academy (VIGA) awards were in colorful glory held on Saturday at Imperial Royale hotel Kampala. The event was hosted by Christian radio presenters Natal and Wesley King.

Levixone emerged as the male artist of the year and Julie Mutesasira was the Female artist of the year.  Coopy Bly walked away with two awards (Best Raggae song and Best Video for the song what your love) and Pastor Wilson Bugembe (Song of the year ‘Dala’)

There was a lot of action at the event however; we would like to throw more light on what transpired at different social media platforms of those who were able to take the award home and those that were not.

During such moments, it is easy to see the glow but hard to recognize the awakening of peace. Social media usually brings out the other side of the artist’s chronicle.

From what they posted, we do observe that an award is not only a great prestige or a mark of excellence, but is also a tremendous boost for someone to strive and excel higher and aim for even bigger accomplishments in life, something relevant to what Levixone said during his speech at the event, promising to work even harder this year.

V42Coopy Bly – “Glory be to God!!  Last night we were able to take home two Viga Music Awards – Best Reagae Artist/Song and Video of The Year…Special thanks to my audio producer Vad, Video producer J-Blessing, the Vision with Hope dancers and to my fiancé for accepting my proposal in the ‘What a Love’ Video (because if she hadn’t, the world would have missed out on this video hehe). “

HUMHum Kay – “Hi Friends, Thanks for your massive support! We didn’t win the award, but we represented the PEACE cause exceptionally well.
